Corban is now home with us safe and healthy.  We brought him home Monday around 5pm.  Thank you all for your support and prayers.  We love and appreciate you all.

As many of you are just finding out, Corban was admitted to NICU on Fri afternoon with the possiblity of seizures and low blood sugar problems.  As of right now (Sun afternoon) we are getting good reports that it was just a case of severe jitters (jitters are normal for newborns as they learn how to make nervous pathways for motor control), the EEG came back very normal for his age, as well as the brain ultrasound, and so far the culture they ran for infection of his spinal fluid has come back negative every day since.  His blood sugar problem was most likely caused by his not eating as much as he should (cuz he was sleepin when he was supposed to be eatin), and has now been normal for 3 days when on a schedule of eating (whether he is hungry or not), and he is off IV fluid and processing on his own for that problem.  The final results, whether the spinal fluid culture is completely negative, will come hopefully Monday, and at that time the little man should be coming home to us.  His bily levels are still a bit high, but not in the danger range yet (11.6 at last testing), they haven't ordered any photo for him, but I imagine this high level is in part due that he hasn't seen sunlight since he was born.  We'll keep you all up to date as much as possible.
